Definition: | A vascular disorder which is a form of hand-arm vibration syndrome (HAVS). This is a painful condition of the fingers, thumbs or hands, wrists or arms which is caused or contributed to by exposure to hand-arm vibration. The effects can include impaired blood circulation, damage to the nerves and muscles, and loss of ability to grip properly. It can result in a reduction of dexterity and ability to carry out common functions using these areas of the body. |
