Definition
A standard phrase giving advice on safety precautions which may be appropriate when using a dangerous substance or preparation. It may be designated by the letter "S" followed by a distinguishing number or combination of numbers, but it shall be quoted in full on any label or safety data sheet in which the safety phrase is required to be shown.
